She has already proven her qualities as brood bitch - in Nov'2000 she was mated with Aatu and they produced us Avanti (major-pointed), Aland (major-pointed) and Eclipse (pointed) - a very stylish litter! Having Sadie here for her 2005 litter (the Calypso "LL" breeding)has been a hoot. It's fun to see the different physical and personality traits of her parents, Tux & Tasse, and their predecessors in this little black & white dynamo. Sadie is sweet as she can be, but she IS entitled! She wants her way and is not shy about making her wishes come true. She has made us laugh at her resourcefulness on many occasions. She is a concentrated version of both her parents, basenjis convinced the sun rose and set upon them: supremely confident. She is a marvelous mother - doting on her pups, keeping them well fed to fatness and immaculately clean. She reminds me so much of her own mother, Calypso Demitasse, in this respect. We feel so lucky to have been able to have Sadie return to Calypso for her final litter. Thank you, Jen!  Sadie summer 2004
